The Presidents of the Union of Champagne Houses and Champagne Growers Union have set two key objectives for the Champagne region: zero herbicide by 2025 and 100% of vineyards certified by 2030.

This, they believe, will justify the price per kilo of grapes that will be the difference between conventionally farmed grapes, those without herbicides, and those certified VDC / organic / biodynamic.
